Problem

Asadi Lewis Dentistry is a modern dental practice offering a wide range of dental services. They recently launched a new website and integrated large digital signage within their physical location.

Asadi Lewis currently does not have any social or digital presence outside of their new website. Their goal is to establish their digital presence, engage prospective patients through digital channels and increase their online review numbers.

Solution

A comprehensive digital enhancement plan for Asadi Lewis Dentistry was proposed, covering the website, social media, and physical location.

    Designed to help users identify specific dental concerns, guiding them toward relevant treatments. This encourages appointment bookings and increases patient conversions.

Integrating a symptom checker and enhancing the booking system with real-time updates, with a target of increasing online appointment bookings by 25% within the first six months.

Increased Online Reviews

Implementing QR codes for aftercare instructions and feedback forms aims to improve patient satisfaction scores by achieving an average rating increase of 10 new reviews per quarter.

Attracting Potential Patients

Creating engaging social media content highlighting clinic services, staff profiles, and patient testimonials, aiming for a 30% increase in social media engagement metrics such as likes, comments, and shares over the next quarter.

Process

  • Engaged with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and the existing patient acquisition process, from initial contact through to the completion of dental procedures and patient discharge.

  • Conducted user interviews with prospective patients across the Greater Toronto Area. These insights were instrumental in developing detailed personas that accurately reflect the needs, motivations, and pain points of our target audience.



  • Conducted market research on global dental patient behavior, revealing the following insights:

    1. Patient Preferences: 82% of dental patients globally consult online reviews before selecting a healthcare provider, highlighting the critical role of maintaining a positive online presence.

    2. Marketing Strategies: Over 80% of dental care providers use social media for practice promotion, with 57% utilizing Instagram and 46% focusing on educational content to keep patients engaged.

    3. Technology Adoption: 53% of patients are more likely to choose a dentist offering online or app-based booking, and digital impressions are ranked as the top technology investment.



  • Conducted a competitive analysis of 17 dental care providers in the Greater Toronto Area, evaluating their digital presence and performance across the across the following criteria:

    1. Engaging content

    2. Efficient appointment booking

    3. Instant access to essential information

    • Provide engaging and accessible information

    • Streamlining the booking process

Ideate & Validate

  • Based on identified market gaps and opportunities, two main strategies were developed to enhance features for Asadi Lewis Dentistry’s digital platforms—website and Instagram, ensuring alignment to the project objectives.



  • Brainstorming sessions were conducted to outline ideal user flows and create paper mock-ups, which guided the design of the low-fidelity prototype.



Execute

  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams including UX Designer, Content Strategists, to create a functional prototype.

  • Prioritized key deliverables and established a detailed project schedule, clearly defining accountability and responsibilities. This structured approach ensured the delivery of a functional prototype within the designated timeframe.
